Crossgate makes it easy for clients to decrease their processing costs, fulfill legal obligations and concentrate on their jobs. The entire process of our Electronic Invoice Receipt is clearly and securely structured. Starting with the receipt of EDI invoices from suppliers, our services cover each necessary step up to the transfer of documents to the ERP and Archive System. 
German tax law, §14 UStG Suppliers transfer their EDI invoices to our BIP platform over a secure EDI connection. Once on the platform, the documents are converted to a format previously defined by the client, and the contents are verified in compliance with the German tax law, §14 UStG. At the same time, metadata is generated for archiving at the client, and a plain text document in PDF format is also created.  Qualified digital signature The PDF contains the information for displaying the contents of the IDoc invoice which then undergoes the signature process and is externally endorsed with a qualified digital signature. In a separate step, the signature is checked in connection with the IDoc message, and a verification report is generated as the final document. The data is then securely transferred to the client for processing and revision-safe archiving for at least ten years. |
