E-Invoicing

The 100% solution for electronic document dispatch.

The EU guideline of 2001 gave electronic documents with invoice character – i.e. those relevant to pre-tax allowance – the same status as a hand-signed paper document. The only requirement is a qualified EDI signature which guarantees authenticity of origin and integrity of content.

With its e-invoicing services in line with these legal requirements, Crossgate has created a 100% secure and groundbreaking solution covering the entire process of incoming and outgoing processes including signature and archiving.

This is how Crossgate’s e-invoicing services work:

  1. Crossgate receives the document data of the invoicing party in any format (e.g. PDF, AFP or raw data) and creates a PDF document.
  2. The PDF is assigned a qualified electronic signature and both are deposited in an archive for the invoice recipient.
  3. The invoice recipient is informed of the invoice issue by e-mail or receives a copy of the document.
  4. The digital signature is validated and the relevant verification document electronically stored.
  5. The document, signature and verification report can be archived in the e-archive (for at least ten years according to legal requirements) or by your own means.

It is still the case that many suppliers are not able to create or process EDI messages. The direct processing of a paper-based incoming invoice costs German companies between 4.50 and 13.93 euros.

E-invoicing allows these unnecessary costs to be reduced by up to 60 per cent per document. But who offers a solution for electronic transfer of tax-related documents which not only cuts costs in the long term but which also really integrates all business partners and is still completely in line with legal requirements and absolutely secure?

With Crossgate, the complex issue of “electronic data instead of paper” is very simple to control for both incoming and outgoing processes:

  • without process alteration and with suppliers requiring their own signature solution.
  • Instead, implementation is fast and acceptance guaranteed among customers and suppliers.
  • Crossgate’s modular e-invoicing services are in line with legal requirements for all EU states.

{ Opt for a 100% solution for electronic document dispatch!}

The advantages:

  • The invoice process is simplified both for the sender and the recipient.
  • The changeover does not generate costs, and no manual work is required.
  • There is a significant increase in process reliability and data security.
